Three Wildcats participate in Region 6 Powerlifting Meet
 
Three Wildcat powerlifters participated in the region 6 powerlifting meet on March 1 in Decatur.  These lifters had to rank in the top 10 in their weight class to qualify for this meet.

In the 114 lb. class, Casper Banks placed 7th with a squat of 235, bench press of 150, and deadlift of 275.

In the 165 lb. class, Seth Wolfe placed 4th with a squat of 440, bench press of 235, and deadlift of 450.

In the 275 lb. class, Ryan Smith placed 3rd with a squat of 500, bench press of 250, and deadlift of 420.

February 24 Saturday Regional Meet at Leonard Felisha Thomas qualified for the state powerlifting meet at the Region VI meet in Leonard February 24 with a combined total of 610 lbs.  Felisha competed in the 114.5 lb. weight division and achieved this total by squatting 225 lbs., bench pressing 115 lbs., and deadlifting 270 lbs.
March 17 Saturday State Meet at Killeen Felisha Thomas finished 4th in the state powerlifting meet in Killeen.  Her lift total was an impressive 640 lbs. in the 114 lb. class.  Brandy Morales of Ganado finished 1st with a combined lift of 700 lbs.
