The Sherman Herald-Democrat recently released their 2008 All-Texomaland team.

The Callisburg Lady Cats traveled to Dallas this weekend to play in the Dallas Christian Volleyball Classic.  The Lady Cats came out strong in the first day of play beating Trinity Valley, Dallas Christian, and splitting with Grace Christian School.  The defense worked hard collecting over 40 digs in Friday's pool play, while the offense had over 60 kills in the 3 games.    The Lady Cats captured the top spot in their pool, but were knocked out of the tournament on Saturday with loses to Heritage Chrisitan and Colleyville Covenant.

The 7th grade team ended with a 3rd place finish, having to come from behind to defeat Ponder.  Their record for the season was 8-2.
